Thank you for submitting an intake request. Please know that the most immediate way we can help you rehome your dog is through our courtesy listings. These are posted on our website and shared across social media. Your dog’s listing will be seen by ACD-loving folks in the Pacific Northwest. The courtesy listing will allow you to keep your dog throughout the rehoming process and select the family that is the best fit. There is no fee to post a courtesy listing. If your ACD has a history of aggression or a bite history, please schedule a behavioral evaluation with a professional trainer.

  • PNWCDR is a foster-based rescue. We are a network of dedicated volunteers. We do not have a training facility, kennels, farm or sanctuary. We are able to take a dog when we have a suitable foster home available.
  • Our network of volunteers and foster homes is based in Washington & Oregon. If you’re outside the Pacific Northwest, please contact a rescue group in your area.
  • Intake evaluations are held in certain areas of the PNW. If you’re unable to connect with our intake team for an intake evaluation, you can post a courtesy listing or try the rehoming resources listed below.
  • For guidance with behavior and training, please contact a professional trainer and/or behavioral veterinarian.
  • We are 100% volunteer-powered. We are funded by donations.
