Courtesy Listings

The most immediate way we can help with rehoming your ACD is through our courtesy listings. These are posted on our website and shared across social media. Your dog’s listing will be seen by many ACD-loving folks looking to adopt a cattle dog in the Northwest. This will allow you keep you dog throughout the rehoming process and select the family that is the best fit. There is no fee for a courtesy listing. If your ACD is aggressive or has a bite history, please consult a trainer before beginning the rehoming process. You can submit a courtesy listing request on our website. Owner Surrender

If you’re looking to relinquish your dog to PNWCDR, you can submit a surrender request. Please keep in mind that we receive many requests every week. We are a 100% volunteer-powered and donor-funded 501(c)(3) non-profit rescue. We do not have a farm, training facility, brick & mortar shelter or sanctuary; we a

re a network of foster homes and volunteers. We are only able to take in new dogs when we have an available foster home. If your ACD is aggressive or has a bite history, please consult a trainer before beginning the rehoming process. A surrender request can be made directly on our website. If you are outside the Pacific Northwest, please reach out to a herding breed rescue in your area.
