"Friday`s nature is gentle and laid back. He`s happy to lay around in the home office. His favorite thing is to play with his squeaky ball in the back yard. He loves to be cuddled and loved on. We have a 23 year old cat, which he mostly ignores. Friday doesn`t go to dog parks and has not had much exposure to other dogs. He seems to like them with the proper introduction. He`s happy being brushed and bathed but only lets mom trim his nails. He enjoys riding in the car mostly because he gets to stay with you. He is a champ at the vet and stays calm and obedient. With his trainers guidance he has learned basic obedience and walks very well on a leash. Friday craves reassurance and praise. The potential I see in him to be a loving, calm companion for the right person is remarkable. However, two weeks into being with us he started guarding me from the rest of the family and was herding and nipping at my family. We have been working with a balanced trainer who has evaluated him and has determined that he doesn`t seek out conflict but that he came to us under socialized. He is not experienced with a busy household and needs a lot of crate/place time for decompression and continued training is highly advised. Friday would do well with an adult only household and he prefers women, although he has proven to warm up to a few men with time."

"Hiya! We are desperately trying to find a suitable home for Cisco. He`s 4 years old, and he is a boarder collie/blue heeler mix with no known health concerns (except for anxiety), and he is truly a sweetie. My husband I had him for almost 4 years and despite trying our best to train him, he definitely needs a sterner hand and someone that understands the breed(s). He loves kids, but due to his impulsive nature, he`d do best with older kids that can`t be easily knocked over, and he gets along with cats and other dogs. Cisco definitely needs to be on a farm or given a job to do as he always needs something to do. He is currently at my mom`s house and he is too much dog for her. He is kennel trained, and he`d come either his kennel, food, dog bed and toys."

"Rocket is an energetic dog who needs lots of love and attention. He has a very big personality and will give you side-eye constantly. He has been with his owner for all of his life, he is trained but recently has had some behavioral issues. He needs a home with a yard and an owner who has time to work on his behavior and give him the attention he deserves. Recently moved from Arizona where he got Valley Fever and now has to take medication the rest of his life. He does well on it and it`s visible when we haven`t been consistent with it, he becomes lethargic and he starts limping. He is a great dog but he needs a home where he can run around and get all of his energy out. He loves playing fetch and will destroy most toys he receives, but he does have an "emotional support pillow" that he loves. He won`t always stay still for long but after he runs around for awhile he does love cuddling and getting all the pets and love."

"Ollie is a 3-yr old purebred from WA who acts accordingly - assertive, yappy, crazy athletic, brilliant, and entirely devoid of personal space with his person, or people. Loves balls but generally turned off by oddballs. I`ve yet to tire him with activities such as mountain biking, skiing, long hikes, frisbee fetches.. He is an absolute rock star who needs to maintain a high level of engagement and training to be the best he can be. Does not appreciate current arrangement at bottom of pecking order as "runt of the litter," which he is anything but. Will favor local inquiries from highly active people looking for their ride or die, and I`ve bonded enough with Ollie to want to stay buddies."

He`s deaf and started life as a wild thing in SoCAL before reaching me (also deaf) here in WA, came with an overdose of heeler spice but has mellowed out a lot in three years. Some of that may be due to a spinal injury limiting his range, he now wears booties on his back feet to help with discomfort, enough that he will walk and run most of the time. Without them he tripod pogoes around, but he still sprints faster than me! Otherwise a pretty snuggly guy for a heeler despite an independent and playfully toothy streak though he lacks a rev limiter at times and has a tendency to bite his brother when excited and this often doesn`t end well.
Toby needs a more chill and flexible lifestyle than I have to offer due to his injured state and feral nature so a good place for him would be in the hands of someone adept at managing these circumstances in a gentle way.
Application process will favor locals so we can stay buddies!"

"This is Cinnamon, she was found hiding in a neighbor`s grape field with a gunshot wound to her foot. Once she realized I was a nice human, she came hopping right over, all smiles and tail wagging. I took her to an urgent care, the first hope of course was to save her leg, but unfortunately the best and safest option for Cinnamon was amputation.
Being one leg short does not seem to have dulled the pep in her step at all! Three days post surgery she was trying to climb a tree (following Murphy, her feline friend), we`re a couple weeks out from surgery now and she`s running around like it`s nothing.
We think Cinnamon is a lapponian herder mix (mostly based on color pattern and size.) She`s too smart for her own good and will need lots of play/ mental activity, is great with both cats and dogs. Even after all she`s been through, Cinnamon is quick to make friends with both people and other animals. Cinnamon is really just a sweet little baby that wants attention and affection (and is treat motivated!).
She is almost crate trained, though she does have some attachment anxiety, she would make a great companion for someone who has their dog with them for most of the day. She is an outside dog at the moment but would be very easy to house train- and will 100% be sleeping on the bed with you, lol!"

"Hi everyone, I`m Rowan. I`m looking for my forever home and adventure buddy. At just over a year old, I am FULL of puppy energy. I could play fetch with you all day. As long as I`m by your side I`m a happy camper. If I do have to home alone, I`m still well-behaved as long as I have a puzzle or a bone. I love hiking and camping, UTV rides, and I`m a beginner kayaker. I sleep in the backseat during car rides. I am cuddly and playful with my person but understand you need your space. My favorite game is to catch and eat flies.
I need to RUN off-leash for a minimum of 1.5hr everyday. I`m super smart too so I need toys, puzzles and training to keep me happy and healthy. My heeler loyalty also comes with a healthy dose of that heeler protectiveness. Strangers or other dogs are really scary. I will snap, bark, growl, and very rarely bite to keep them away from my person. I need a forever home that will be dedicated and consistent with my training, someone who is experienced with working breeds. I have my obedience training down and I am eager to learn, so my foster mom thinks I have a chance. Her cat looks tasty though, so I need to find a home ASAP. I am losing my foster home in October and if I have no choice but a shelter, I will likely be euthanized. It`s not my fault I didn`t get socialized and trained as a puppy. I`m a good dog, I just need the chance to prove it."

"Last February I brought this girl up from Bakersfield, CA. She was 24 hours from euthanasia and I just couldn`t let that happen. She was completely shut down and scared of the world around her. My plan was to foster her until ready to find her home. But then I fell in love and decided she was staying.
But as time has passed it is clear she needs to be part of an only dog home. As she is not getting along with my two older dogs and it is clear that this is no longer a safe situation.
During her time with us she has grown so much. She is ready for her adventure to begin. She is smart as heck, walks well on a leash, is highly motivated and will learn anything quickly. Best of all the has the softest ears and give the best kisses.
She still needs some training. Does not like a kennel at all! But I haven`t given it a lot of work and I think with time and space she would do well with it.
She is a Rottweiler Australian Cattle dog mix, 47 pounds, fixed, chipped and up to date on all vaccines.
Musts: *She needs someone active with the ability to give her daily mental and physical exercise *A yard or ability to be outside daily and often. She loves the sun! Hates the rain. ( she is from California after all lol) *Must be an only pet
If you are interested in loving this girl and giving her all the love my heart wants to please reach out."

"Hello, this is Blue. He is the ultimate adventure companion. He has joined me on countless hikes, camping trips, backpacking trips and river days. He loves to swim, walk, sniff and paddle board! He is very good on a leash. Non-reactive and doesn`t pull. Blue is a loving dog who forms a strong bond with his people. He`s smart and intuitive and can sense when something is up. Blue is very loyal and affectionate towards his people and can sometimes be protective. With that being said, he can sometimes be wary of strangers and visitors. A typical greeting will consist of some barking and initial apprehension but he will typically warm up to people very quickly and always wins them over. He is sensitive about having his ears and feet touched, so a gentle approach is best. He is muzzle trained and crate trained and knows all basic commands. He has been on fluoxetine for the last 5 years to manage his anxiety. We have made the difficult decision to rehome Blue due to ongoing inter-dog conflict in our home. Despite working with a professional trainer and learning valuable management strategies, we feel that it`s not fair for him to live under constant management and tension. He deserves a calm and peaceful environment where he can freely roam without stress caused by another dog. The best fit for Blue is a home with no small children, few visitors and no other dogs."

Solo is a 3 year old Cattle Dog. We reacued him from Rangely, CO 2 years ago. We are sure we were not given his whole history. Although we went through training , he met our existing dogs before adopting etc etc... he keeps picking fights with our older male cattle dog/boxer mix. Not around food. Not around toys. We have 5 dogs total, Solo picks on just this one. We have exhausted our resources on stopping these incidents.
Solo is loyal, certified with paper work service dog for anxiety and needs to be in an only dog home. He loves our 3 kids and has never shown agression toward them.
We are on 7 acres fenced property. 1 acre fenced connected to house which he has access to via dog door. The other 6 acres he runs when we take the dogs out for exercise. He has amazing recall & smart.
Please reach out if you have a home/ ranch for him. He will not handle being in a shelter, the stress would be to much for him.
Thanks - Alan & Kristen 80421"

"Pal is a great dog that loves to play and cuddle! His favorite games include tug and fetch. He loves walks as well, but still needs some better leash training as he is currently a bit of a puller. He is great with other dogs that like to play as much as he does. We would probably recommend a house without young children or cats, unless you are willing to put some training in to help regulate his herding instincts. He is crate trained and isn`t a big barker, and seems to be very accepting of getting washed. He also accepts and even seems to enjoy getting picked up and held. Pal would love to be your new best friend!"

"Hi! My name is Willie Nelson but you can also call me Willow if you prefer. The first thing you should know about me is that I`m a certified velcro dog! Going on an adventure? I`m in! Want to rot all day? I`ll rot with you! Doing errands? Take me with! Whatever you`re doing I want to do it too! I am crate trained, great on leash, have excellent recall, and I`m well behaved when left alone. Some of my hobbies include show and tell with my toys, rolling in the grass, chasing the ball, making biscuits (like a cat), playing fetch at the river and getting lots of cuddles and kisses!
My foster mom hosts a lot of parties at her house and I love helping her welcome all the guests. I`m definitely more a girls girl though as I tend to be wary of most men (I love lesbians).
I am nervous around other dogs at first but I have been able to make some friends with the help of a slow introduction. Once I`m warmed up I LOVE playing with my friends! I lived with two other dogs in my last home and we were besties!
I`m a super quirky girl and my foster mom has a lot more she`d love to share about me so please reach out to adoptwillienelson@gmail.com if you have any questions, want more pictures and videos, or want to learn more! <3"

"The adorable Fossi (ACD/Boxer mix) is a survivor! He was rescued from Roswell, NM and has made huge progress with his foster parents in the last 10 months.
He is extremely curious, smart, and a total goofball. He is a wonderful companion and wants to be a part of everything you do...whether that`s running, cooking, going on errands in the car (he is the cutest sight in your sideview mirror), or cuddling and napping. While he is a combination of two very active breeds, he can read the room and knows when it`s time to hang out!
Fossi is AMAZING with other doggoes. The owner of the boarding facility he stays at loves that he is "her go-to dog who can be introduced to and play with any of the other dogs!" He would really love another pup in his forever home to show him the ropes. Fossi deserves a patient forever family or person who is comfortable taking people introductions While his foster dad immediately gained his trust, some men are scary upon first meeting. If you are willing to give him the time he deserves to learn to trust you, you will be rewarded with the most loving, loyal best friend."
"Poppy is a 2-year-old Australian cattle dog, German shepherd, husky, pitbull mix looking for a new forever home. she`s energetic and has a young spirit but is smart beyond her years and learns extremely quickly. She loves being outside and running around on beaches and in the woods, chasing sticks, swimming, hiking and hanging with her friends at the dog park, going on walks around the city too and sniffing flowers. she is extremely friendly with people and dogs but loves having her people. when at home she likes to lay around on the couch, get pets, snuggle, play with toys and solve food puzzles. she would love to have a fenced yard, maybe another well-mannered dog to cohabitate with who can match her energy and also show her the ropes of dog adulthood. she does not like cats or other small animals! she is ok with small dogs though! she super sweet and i love her and she needs an attentive, loving home with people who love to be outside and play as well. she`s great camping, on road trips, knows basic commands. she can be a lot of dog because of her young energy for one person, but if you are up for the task she will be your best friend and adventure bud."

"Reaver is a very sweet boy, more on the dominant side so he needs a lot of attention and activity. He gets along with my other two large dogs but has killed my chickens too many times to stay. He needs lots of space to run and he chases my cat but also backs off when she stands up to him. He digs holes and chews up anything and everything, chewing has calmed a bit but you can leave anything out without that worry. He growls at my neighbors who he knows so they are not comfortable with him either."

"I am hoping someone out there can offer Scout a more fulfilling life than we can by giving him room to roam, a job, or one-on-one time to further his training. Please inquire only if you have experience with this breed or other herding/working dogs as I want his next home to be understanding, patient, loving, and ultimately successful. He`s a wonderful companion but just needs the right environment. He does decent on car rides but will bark on occasion when he spots something interesting. Having strangers approach the vehicle is a no-go as he will bark (drive thru and coffee stands). This goes for his home as well. Scout will become over-excited when visitors are in his home and demand constant attention from them via barking. Scout will need a slow and proper introduction with strangers. He is great with other dogs but can become aggressive over food. He is crate trained, house-trained, and knows a handful of commands like "Leave it, Stay, Spin, Down, Roller Over" and more. He enjoys hiking and being outside with his person. He will not do well with children ages under 13. I am not sure how he will do in a home with cats, or other animals or with livestock.

"Bodhi is a 4.5 year old Blue Heeler mix, who currently lives in Vancouver BC.
Bodhi loves to adventure in the forest, swim at the beach and backcountry camp, but he`s also equally as happy snuggled up at home with his people. As long as he gets two good walks a day, he is happy to spend the rest of his time napping in his bed or sun bathing on the patio. Bodhi is potty trained, crate trained, knows all the basic commands (including a few tricks), and does not have any separation anxiety.
Bodhi is a total love bug with people and dogs he knows well, however he can be reactive when meeting new dogs and cautious when meeting new people, especially in our home. We currently send Bodhi to dog daycare and a dog walker, and he loves both! We believe his reactivity is primarily due to his protectiveness over us and our home - he does much better in external environments.
Bodhi is currently at a 7 week board & train program to work on his reactivity. While we are very hopeful this will improve his behaviour, we also recognize that our life in a busy city and small apartment is not the best environment for him. We are looking for a quiet home, with outdoor space and no young children for Bodhi to really thrive.
If you have previous cattle dog experience and are looking for a loyal, smart and lovable dog, please reach out for more information."

"Buddy, who likes to be known as "The Budster" is an energetic young heeler mix. He may take a little time to warm up to you, but once he does, he`s your companion for life. This boy lives to play fetch and going on long walks on the beach. Buddy would do well with another family dog, because he`s a friendly sort of chap. He wants his new family to know that having treats on hand is a must, and his people should be well trained in administering belly rubs."
"Echo is a handsome 3 year old blue heeler looking for a new adventure. He is neutered and weights around 35 pounds. He came to us as an eight week old puppy in hopes he`d be a good adventure buddy and companion for our deaf heeler. He has lived up to our expectations as a phenomenal companion. However, his increasing prey drive has resulted in the excruciating decision to rehome him. He is one of the most loving dogs I`ve ever met, he can`t get close enough to you and no amount of affection is enough for him. He loves to play fetch and can run all day. He is crate trained and knows the basic commands, and has been exposed to clicker training and ecollar work. His biggest downfall is that he`s insecure and anxious, but he wants to please and thrives with verbal and physical praise. His perfect home would be with an experienced dog owner as an only pet where he doesn`t have to fight for attention. A very active home is a must, he definitely needs some kind of job that we are unable to provide. Even a sport home would be great, where someone can teach him agility or flyball! Absolutely no cats, small animals, small dogs or young children. He needs someone who will be willing to continue his training and help him overcome his insecurities. I will discuss his full history to anyone who is seriously interested in devoting their time and their heart to Echo. He deserves only the best"
