Description

A classic design for a reason. The classic bifold comfortably fits up to eight cards new and up to twelve once broken in. It features a roomy full-length pocket for cash, six main interior card slots, and a hidden pocket behind the main card slots on each side. This version is hand stitched from rich brown minerva (exterior) and olive pueblo vegetable tanned leathers from the Badalassi Carlo tannery in Italy. The vegetable tanning process uses tree bark extracts and takes approximately six weeks, producing a strong yet buttery leather that will hold up to years of hard use. This leather will patina wonderfully over time, darkening and developing a shinier finish in areas of wear. All seams are hand-stitched with a traditional, highly durable saddle stitch (no sewing machine used). The edges are sanded, then hand burnished for a high gloss finish. This item was made by me one stitch at a time in Seattle, WA.
